Maria Meindl - Workshops on creativity and Feldenkrais technique
Maria Meindl has been teaching adults since 1986. She is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner with a special interest in creativity. She teaches weekly movement classes, as well as workshops in movement and creativity. Private sessions are also available.
The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education is designed to help you move with greater ease. It can enhance performance in sports and dance, help you recover from injury and avoid re-injury. By helping you free yourself from habits, Feldenkrais enhances creativity for everyone … in all aspects of life.

Maria has an M.A. in Educational Philosophy and a B.A. in Drama. Her poetry, fiction and articles have appeared in numerous publications including The Literary Review of Canada, Descant, Musicworks and Queen Street Quarterly. She has performed her comic monologues at events including Word on the Street and the Festival of Women in the Arts. Recently, she completed Past Forgetting, a biography of her grandmother, the poet and broadcaster Mona Gould (1908-1999). Her radio documentary on siblings caring for their elderly parents first aired on CBC Ideas in 2003, and another on polio and its aftermath aired in 2007.
Maria is one of the co-ordinators of Draft, a reading series in the East end of Toronto focusing on new work.
